Some addendum to the Husum seaside pictures- a look behind the camera. Last pic is a screenshot, hence it is blurry.
And just for fun: Goldi says "Give us a kiss!" And look, she has decorated her muzzle with greenery from the stream.

English Summary:
The kitchen chairs have arrived! Whee!
And Granny Lene looks so tired, because she spent the day by the sea and had a nice but stormy ride there with Cassandra. (Almost got blown off the saddle once or twice, LOL)

 photo peekingin_kl_zps092a4a51.jpg

Heute war Basteln angesagt. Was könnte das hier wohl werden?
 photo abzug01_zpsae6fc788.jpg

So ist es vielleicht deutlicher:

Und fertig ist die Abzugshaube. Der Herd wurde auch überarbeitet.

English Summary:
Today is DIY day again and I made a kitchen hood from cardboard for my miniature kitchen. Also, I fixed the issues of the stove.

Neues vom Puppenhaus

An Oma Lenes Haus tut sich was...
 photo vorschaufassade02_kl_zps4978e65e.jpg

Während Außen die Arbeiten weitergingen...
 photo dachlakiert01_kl_zpsb9d08df2.jpg

English Summary:
Today it felt a bit like Christmas, because so many great little things arrived in the mail.
After a phase of DIY work it was time to get some finished goodies and so here came new pieces of furniture for the house.
While outdoor-work busily continued, the lorry with the new furniture drove down to the house and unloaded its goods. Such a treasure heap!
If you spy through the window, everything looks more real of a sudden.

Included in the cargo were the absolutely delightful weathercock with the directions in Danish letters, LOL!! I find it befitting to have a Scandinavian weathercock on my house. XD
Then the tv/stereo rack for the livingroom. And how delightful, there were two records included, also the stereo has a tape-deck and there was even a small remote-control. Me loooves!

Down in the kitchen, we have now the basic things that a kitchen needs. Here set up provisorically to see how it looks. The hearth will get a tiny modification, as all the wood does not go well with it being a gas stove, LOL!! Also it needs some buttons to switch the flames on and such. (No, it has no functionality)
The two copper pots on the table I got for free, isn't it a lovely gift? ♥ ♥ ♥

All the lovely furniture was found in this Ebay shop: http://stores.ebay.de/Bad-Munstereifeler-Minis?_rdc=1
Be careful, there are so many nice things that you get a tendency to want them all, LOL!!

EDIT: See added last image. That's the best way to place the furniture for now, it looks nice, too.

Stoned *g*

After roofing, I now also mastered the art of laying floor tiles, LOL!! The gaps have not yet been filled in and the gloss is caused by the still wet laquer.

I am lightyears apart from Christine's talent at making dioramas, but I always feel so inspired by her work, that I always try my humble best when trying something out. Her work you find here: Last Alliance Studios

Dacharbeiten

Bei Oma Lenes Haus wird am Dach gewerkelt.
Zuerst wurde es komplett eingedeckt:
 photo dach06_zpsfaabfbb0.jpg

 photo dach07_zps00ef316b.jpg

 photo niret01_zps953765a4.jpg

 photo niret03_zps272a08ec.jpg

English Summary:
The work on Granny Lene's house continues- the roof is currently the focus of attention. First it has been completed and all complicated (half or quarter ones) tiles have been sculpted by hand, as well as those who cover the steep edges on top. And today everything got a first layer of paint, yay!

And Nisse has been retouched as well, now looking like a properly realistic pony.

 photo dachdecken01_zpsbb7cb5f5.jpg

 photo dachdecken02_zpsb43a1f65.jpg

English Summary:
The little house progresses nicely, currently the rooftiles are laid.

And what is Granny Lene up to in the meantime?
She went to a horse auction- "just to have a look" and came back with this prime specimen of a Norwegian Fjord gelding.
Luckily for her (and her feet *g*) Nisse has a real calm temper. And you have to admit that they look really nice together, too.
Since this Breyer mold has a very wide head, it was clear that none of our headstalls would fit, so we got a lovely custom made bitless bridle from our favourite saddlery Gut Goldbach for him.

And of course this bridle also fits our other Fjord,Snø , too.
Nisse will get some minor retouching in spots where he is too light (like the inside of his nostrils), but I wanted to show him once as true OF horse.

 photo purzelrascal04_zpsd81d63f8.jpg

 photo purzelrascal01_zps93254355.jpg

English Summary:
Today, Granny Lene took little Rascal home from the stables to see if he gets along with Purzel. If they like each other well, then Rascal can stay with them. And those two will probably cause a lot of trouble together. *g*
