Nächste kleine Fortschritte
Ich habe vorallem die Röhrbeine und Sehnen dort überarbeitet, weiß aber nicht, ob man das auf diesen Bilder gut sieht. Wahrscheinlich eher nicht.
Ich habe sie dunkelbraun angemalt, um mal einen besseren Eindruck von ihrer Gesamtform zubekommen, in Weiß sehe ich das nicht so gut:

Next steps I was doing, were refining the cannonbone area and work on the tendons there. The result is probably not very visible on these piccies as I just painted her dark brown to better see her overall shape, for some reason this is easier for me with a dark colour.

Mikro-Mini-Fortschritte
Meine OSC-Stute macht super kleine Fortschritte (aber immerhin...)
Falls ihr Euch über die geänderte Ohrenstellung und die provisorischen Öhrchen wundert- im Bodyregal wurde gerauft und da hat sie Schaden genommen. Da das mit zurückgewandtem Ohr aber sehr niedlich aussieht, wird das jetzt wohl so bleiben. (Apoxie ist noch nicht fest, überraschen lassen)

If you are suprised about the changed ear-position and the fact that she has just earstubs now- the custbodies had a little fight in their shelf and her ears got damaged. Now they are properly wired and since it looked kinda cute with the ear turned sideways, it will probably stay like this. The Apoxie has not set, yet, so don't be surprised if I change it again. *g*

Mein Sommerprojekt
...ist die zukünftige Fuchstute Finally. Moment "Sommerprojekt"? Das ist schon richtig, denn so war es geplant. Dieser Custbody hat sich bloß "ein bisschen" verspätet- deshalb heißt sie jetzt auch "Finally" (= Endlich).
Hier ist ein Bild vom momentanen Stand:

Stellungsverändert und aufmodelliert wurde er von P. Albegger.
Ich habe ihn entmannt und zur Stute umoperiert, die Ohren angelegt und werde noch ein paar Details bearbeiten.

The horse has been a Breyer Smoky and was repositioned and resculpted by P.Albegger. I have changed his gender from stallion to mare and am in progress on pinning the ears back properly and adding other little details.

Neues Zubehör
Am Mittwoch kam unsere Gralskönigin vom Anpassen beim Sattler zusammen mit dem neuen Zubehör wieder zurück.
Sie hatte eine neue Trense bekommen:
Oma Lene freute sich, als sie sie in der Halle ritt, denn mit dem gut passenden Zaum war sie gleich viel rittiger:
Außerdem gab es eine Trense für Alarich:
Hier das Bild im Ganzen, weil es mir so gut gefällt:
Und Libelle bekam "ihre" Trense- ein Nachbau der richtigen Trense, die sie hatte- nur der "Goldstreifen" ist anders, aber das sah so schön aus damit...
Und dann bekamen wir noch einen neuen Dressur-Sattel, der speziell auch unseren großen Pferden gut passen sollte (und das auch tut!):
Das wunderbare Zubhör stammt von Steffi Honrath aus der Sattlerei Gut Goldbach und wie immer hat sie sich selbst übertroffen.

On Wednesday our mare Gralskönigin returned from the saddlery where she got a new bridle.
She brought with her the other custom ordered tack pictured above and I was more than delighted when unpacking the great little works. I totally love my new tack pieces. They were crafted by Steffi Honrath Sattlerei Gut Goldbach .

Nein! Lass das!
Beim abendlichen Stallgasse fegen scheint Witch Queen sagen zu wollen "Sooo und jetzt bitte auffüllen, mit Äpfeln und Wurzeln - aber bis zum Rand!"
Tja, wenn man den Jungpferden nur mal kurz den Rücken zu dreht...

OSC Stute oder die unendliche Geschichte
Mal wieder ein neuer Zwischenstand. Die Kopfform hab ich nun glaube ich endlich richtig:
Die zweite Seite wird aufgepolstert:
Hier von oben, der Versuch Symmetrie zu erreichen:
Und immer wenn man einen Fehler beseitig hat, findet man fünf neue...Aber noch gebe ich nicht auf.. Immer wenn ich davor bin hinzuschmeißen, dann gucke ich mir an, wie sie am Anfang aussah und vergleiche das mit dem aktuellen Stand:
Und dann mache ich weiter.
Eine Lektion habe ich auf jeden Fall gelernt- ein ganzes Pferd nur mit Apoxie modellieren ist nicht mein Ding... Ich bleibe in Zukunft bei Massen wie Sculpey und mache nur die Details in Apoxie.
Und noch ein Grund, warum nur Apoxie eine schlechte Idee ist- sie wiegt nun schon 800g! (Am 13. Juli noch 600g)

The Witch Queen
Vor einer Weile hatten wir den Hengst Hexer zu Besuch, den wir für das Gestüt Wooden Eyre erwerben konnten.
Damals haben wir ihn mit unserer Rappstute Black Queen angepaart, in der Hoffnung einen reinerbigen Rappen als Nachwuchs zu ziehen.
Black Queen:

Und Hexer:
Das Ergebnis ist eine Stute namens Witch Queen und sie hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen, denn sie hat einen sehr edlen Typ und trotzdem ist ihr Fundament solider als das ihrer Mutter.

English Summary:
A while ago, the stallion Hexer (=Warlock) paid us a visit before travelling on to his final home on the Wooden Eyre stud. We bred him to our Black Queen, hoping for a homozygous black offspring.
We did not only get that, personified in the two year old filly Witch Queen, but she was even better than we could have hoped. Such a sweet refined face and yet a very solid foundation to stand on.
The pictures above show her, some together with Black Queen, the proud Mom.

Der "Och nee" Moment...
Beim Herumschnitzen an meiner OSC Stute kam mir beim Bearbeiten der Hinterhand ein Draht in den Weg. Ich habe den also freigelegt und entfernt. Dann wollte ich eine Rinne schleifen um ein neues Drahstück elegent einzulegen und festzumodellieren:
Drahtende und Kanal markiert.
So hätte es dann ausgesehen und man hätte das bloß noch zumodellieren müssen.
Wenn nicht %&@§$!! das Bein abgebrochen wäre.
Also Plan B und so wie wirs immer machen, auch beim Reparieren von veränderten Pferden...
Hier ist der Draht schon übermodelliert, aber sonst ist da noch nichts weiter passiert. Allerdings sieht man prima wo ich sonst noch an ihr gearbeitet habe:

When working more on my stubborn OSC, the wire of a hindleg got in the way of corrections so I surfaced it and removed it. Then I had such a nice plan how to lay in a new one into a drilled sort of trench and prepared everything- and then the leg just snapped before I could finish anything. Drat!
Well, there is always plan B. Plan B is the "do it as we always do this" method which did of course work out then... Above pics show her with the leg reattached but not worked on further. The patches of Apoxie show where I *did* some work in the mean time.

Ponyfohlen
Ymir hat gefohlt... um, nein hat er natürlich nicht. Aber ein kleines Rappfohlen namens Knopf hat er adoptiert.
Boah, ist das aber klein- da staunt der große Fiete:
Hier sehen wir schon des Rätsels Lösung:
Ymirs Freundin, die Shetty Stute Hoppa, hat ein eigenes Fohlen und der kleine Rappe ist ihr als kleiner Waise untergeschoben worden:
Allerdings findet Knopf den alten Ymir viel besser und so trinkt er nur bei Ersatzmama Hoppa und verbringt dann die restliche Zeit am Schweifzipfel des alten Wallachs, der dies mit großer Gelassenheit hinnimmt. Hier kommen die beiden gerade von einem kleinen Ausflug zurück.
Beide Fohlen sind mit Mohair-Resten beflockte Schleich-Fohlen.

Shetty mare Hoppa has a foal of her own and lets little "Knopf" (=button) drink as well. Knopf muchly prefers the old gelding Ymir, though and spends most of his time following the old pony around. Wise old Ymir does not mind, most likely he even enjoys the company of the foal.
Both foals are Schleich foals who were completely flocked with rests of mohair.
