Nun hab ich aber auch erstmal wieder genug vom Sägen & Co. als nächstes wird mal wieder gemalt, damit auch mal wieder jemand fertig wird.

Sometimes, inspiration hits you hard and you really have to do something about it. For me, paper-sketches do not work with model horses, I need to catch the idea hands on on the intended body. So in this case, a Sonador fell into my hands. *g* I had thought that a free trot that would look credible both on a pasture and under a relaxed rider would look incredibly nice on this mold. So I grabbed saw, tongs and heatgun and had after 15 minutes a rough shape. Some days and a little sculpting later I had captured enough of my idea to be at peace with the idea to let her wait in line now and get more work on the older bodies done before her first. Afterall, she is already developing some character. *g*
And the other pictures, well, guess why there are comparatively few haired Halla-molds around? Above you see why- as soon as you get loose that tail, you have almost the same amount of work again with resculpting the hindleg and closing that considerable gap in the behind...
