Und die Größe ist doch wichtig.... *g*

English Summary:
Today (and yesterday) more stuff for the dolls house arrived. Important stuff needed for wiring the place. I can't put it all together until I have installed the wiring first.
I have to admit I felt somewhat offended when I saw the power outlet first- it is huuuuge! (See comparision with Rosalie, who is 1:10 not 1:12) I mean, I can tack model horses up with those tiny tongued buckles and then I get a power outlet of that size?!
Then I thought about it and finally realized that it *has* a good side. Wiring these will be not nearly as fiddly as I had feared.
And so I began to make the groves for the wires deeper and wider, so that they will easily take the little tubes that will hold the wires.

And I measured correctly, yay! A door does indeed fit behind the stairs, yay! It will lead nowhere, as there is a wall behind it, but it will lend the house the illusion of having more space in the imaginary rooms behind it- like a bathroom for example. *g*

Trockenbau

*ggg*

The instructions say "make a dry build to plan the internal decorations and wirings".
Ok.
Looks as if all that matters will fit in nicely. XD

English Summary:
Big excitement everywhere! Granny Lene wants to build a house and she really insisted on a new one- well you know how it is, the little people plan and want and who's going to create it? Right...
Anyhow, we build a house kit from Dolls Houses Emporium of England, yay! I am very excited, as this is a little dream coming true here.
See above some impressions of the unpacking, some size comparisions and measurement.
And the cute carpet! The shop included it for free, how nice is that? ♥ Here's the website of the shop:  Oma's Puppenstube
