Purzel

Cornerstuds Leute hatten einen kleinen Hund abzugeben- genau das richtige für unsere Oma Lene- und ich hab mich gleich auf den ersten Blick verliebt.
Und deshalb brachte nun heute die Post ein Paket in dem es gescharrt und geschnüffelt hat und drin war- Purzel.

Zuerst war er noch ein bißchen schüchtern


aber dann, nachdem er einen Apfel geklaut hatte, begann er sich gleich heimisch zufühlen.


Die Purzel-Bilder sind im Rohbau aufgenommen worden- noch ist nichts verleimt, sondern nur mit Kreppband gehalten, weil ich das Haus einmal aufstellen musste um noch einige Maße zu ermitteln.

Die Tür unter der Treppe (kriegt noch mehr Farbe, sie bleibt nicht weiß, und auch noch den Rahmen)

So, und nun werde ich mal Fußboden für oben und Tapete bestellen gehen....

Purzel
At Cornerstud's a little dog was for sale and me and granny Lene immediately fell in love with the little guy. So today a parcel arrived and it contained something that scritched and snuffled- Purzel.
At first, he was a little shy, but soon he had successfully stolen an apple and began to feel cosy. *g*

The images of Purzel were taken in the raw frame of the house- that is a little bit less raw by now. Nothing is glued together yet, because the cables have to go in, first, but the masking tape does a fine job to hold everything in place, so I can take some necessary measures in there.
The door under the stairs will get a bit more colour, too, it won't stay all white.

Next step- ordering flooring and wallpaper for the top floor. (And assembling the rail for the stair)

Eigentlich wollte ich an meinem Haus weitermalen, aber Inspiration ist im Moment ein eher seltener Gast und deshalb muss man sich sofort mitreißen lassen, bevor sie wieder weg ist.
Wenn das da oben einigen bekannt vorkommt, dann liegt ihr goldrichtig.
Berengaria hätte eh Überarbeitung gebraucht, da sie einige Risse und Farbfehler hatte- als ich sie aber in der Hand hielt, fiel mir auf, mit wie wenig Veränderung etwas noch Besseres 'draus werden kann.
Daher hier nun "Rosie"(das ist ein Insider vom Stall) in Arbeit, wenn sie fertig ist, wird sie als Modell "Goldschatz" heißen. *g*

Originally I had planned to work more on the house, but true inspiration rarely hits these days, so it would be folly to turn it away when it does.
So if you think you are recognizing the body above, you may be spot on.
Berengaria would have needed a serious overhaul, as she had cracks and paint flaws, anyway but when I held her in my hand, my brain transformed her outlines and yes!! With not very much effort, one can make a very neat look-a-like out of her by transforming her into another horse.
So, "Rosie" (that is a joke at the barn) is now in the works and will be named "Goldschatz" (= Golden Treasure) when finished. *g*

And one special little screen-shot- sometimes, the rain simply washes off disguising glamour. *g*

Und? Ist das Haus fertig?

"Charlie und ich würden gerne einziehen!"


Das kann ich mir gut vorstellen, aber das Haus ist noch nicht weiter. Allerdings ist die Hausbesitzerin aus der Klinik zurück.
Mehrere Drähte in ihrem Inneren waren kaputt und außerdem war ihr fertiger Puppenkörper nicht so ganz gut proportioniert. Deshalb habe ich sie auseinander genommen und ihr einen ganz neuen Körper gegeben.

Jetzt stimmen zwar die Proportionen, aber sie ist nun auch eher 1:11 im Maßstab. Hmmm... gut das das Haus unten so eine hohe Decke hat. *g*

"Is the house done, yet? Charlie and me want to move in!"
Well, I have to disappoint Oma Lene here, because there has been no progress. But she has no reason to complain, because I finally fixed *her*.
She had some broken wires and a slightly disproportionate body to begin with, so I made her a new one from scratch.
Now she looks much nicer- and is unfortunately outgrown the 1:12 scale somewhat. Aw, well, then she is a tall old lady and the house does have a high ceiling. *g*

Und die Größe ist doch wichtig.... *g*

Heute ist das Material für die Verkabelung angekommen.


Zuerst war ich doch etwas pikiert, wie groß die Anschlüsse sind- das ist immerhin für 1:12 und das hier ist ein 1:10 Pferd und der Maßstab stimmt nicht:

...aber nachdem ich mir die Sachen eine Weile anguckt hatte, hab ich die andere Seite daran gesehen- das Verkabeln wird viiiiiiieeeel leichter gehen als ich dachte. Ich brauche hierfür nichtmal ne Lupe wie befürchtet.

Also ging es los, die vorgefrästen Kanäle vertiefen. (Links tiefer und breiter, rechts "OF") Das sich mein Aufsatz dafür nicht 100% geeignet hat sieht man fast gar nicht. *g* Nachher liegt da ja eh der Boden drauf.


Warum das Gefräse? Weil da noch ein Kabelrohr rein muss und die Puppen sollen ja nachher nicht über Bodenwellen stolpern.


Und dann hab ich auch noch richtig gemessen- die Tür passt! Das hier wird eine falsche Tür, die hinter der Treppe liegt und dem Haus die Illusion gibt, das es dort in angrenzende Räume weitergeht- zum Beispiel ins Bad. *g*
Mit viel Glück werde ich es auch hinbekommen, das sich die Tür öffnen läßt, obwohl sie flach auf der Wand liegt.


English Summary:
Today (and yesterday) more stuff for the dolls house arrived. Important stuff needed for wiring the place. I can't put it all together until I have installed the wiring first.
I have to admit I felt somewhat offended when I saw the power outlet first- it is huuuuge! (See comparision with Rosalie, who is 1:10 not 1:12) I mean, I can tack model horses up with those tiny tongued buckles and then I get a power outlet of that size?!
Then I thought about it and finally realized that it *has* a good side. Wiring these will be not nearly as fiddly as I had feared.
And so I began to make the groves for the wires deeper and wider, so that they will easily take the little tubes that will hold the wires.

And I measured correctly, yay! A door does indeed fit behind the stairs, yay! It will lead nowhere, as there is a wall behind it, but it will lend the house the illusion of having more space in the imaginary rooms behind it- like a bathroom for example. *g*
