Noch mehr Bernhardiner...

Auf diesem Bild mit Hannes würde man eventuell sehen, dass ich die Pfoten nach Shantis Tipp nachbearbeitet habe, wenn das Weiß nicht so leuchten würde. *g* Aber spätestens bei den nächsten Tageslichtbildern wird man es dann richtig sehen.


Der liegende Hund hat auch schon eine kleine Freundin gefunden:

Überraschend ist das aber nicht- denn er war schon 2011 auf Kuschelkurs, als ich ihn repariert habe:

On the image together with Hannes, you would be able to see that I have sanded down his too big paws after Shanti's hint to do so. Unfortunately the light is bad and the camera took a liking to the white and well... so details will be revealed in the next daylight photo, then. *g*

The lying down specimen has already found a little friend, too, and I have several cute ideas for images when he is finished.
I am not surprised, though, because already in 2011 when I was still fixing up his body, he was already snuggling with a model horse. *g*

Schnuffi ist soweit fertig, er muss jetzt nur noch durchtrocknen, damit er eine Lackschicht bekommen kann und noch einen Tick matter wird.

Die zwei sind allerdings nicht ganz maßstabstreu, ich schätze sie auf etwas größer als 1:09, aber wenn man geschickt fotografiert müßte es noch gehen.

English Summary:
Schnuffi is finished, he just needs to dry most thoroughly so he can get a finishing layer of laquer that will make him a tad bit less shiny, too.
Above you can see him alone and in comparision to some other critters, so you can guess at his size.

Thanks to Schnuffi, two other old projects are getting some work now, too. Above is what they currently look like. They are not in scale for the rest, I am thinking them to be a bit larger than 1:09 scale, so photographing them will be tricky but not impossible.

Schnuffi

Hurra, heute habe ich zum ersten Mal seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit mal wieder was Kreatives gemacht- beim Einkaufen lief mir ein beinahe maßstabstreues Bernhardiner-Modell aus Kunststein über den Weg. Natürlich war die Bemalung wie immer bei solchen Modellen grottenschlecht und deshalb habe ich nun angefangen, ihm vernünftig Farbe zu verpassen.
Einen Spitznamen hat er auch schon: Schnuffi. Und das kam, weil die Frau an der Kasse beim eingeben sagte "Och, was haben Sie denn da für einen Schnuffi?". *g*

Hier ist er, es ist noch ein bißchen was zu tun, aber er ist schon vorzeigbar:

Yay, finally I could do something creative again - it feels like forever since I last actually painted or made something... When I did my weekend shopping, this doggy leaped into my basket at the grocery store. He's almost true 1:10 and made from polyresin. Like all of his kind, his painting was horrible and so I sat down to do something about it. Above he is not finished, yet, but you can see where he is going.
And he already has a nickname, too : "Schnuffi" The name happened when the lady at the tills went: "Awww, what a Schnuffi you have got there!" LOL!!

Neues Ausreitgelände

Wir haben ja nun das Billetal gleich hinterm Haus, da muss man ja mal gucken gehen. Das Licht war heute allerdings sehr schwierig (sozusagen leuchtende Wolken) und es war brechend voll mit Radlern, Spaziergängern, Horden von Mücken, hungrigen Enten und Welpen. Aber ich denke früh morgens an einem Wochentag sollte es dort prima Fotochancen geben. In der Zeit wo die Bäume kahl sind sogar richtig schöne Fotoplätze.


Immerhin so idyllisch sieht es da aus, wenn man mal die ganzen Menschen ausblendet.

Mittlerweile hat mir ein Kommentator gesagt, um was es sich bei dieser Pflanze handelt, vielen Dank! :)

Drüsiges Springkraut (Impatiens glandulifera), häufig auch Wupperorchidee genannt.

Und natürlich war ich nicht völlig pferdelos draußen- und einmal sogar schneller als all die hinderlichen Umstände (siehe oben *g*)


English Summary:
Since I have the rivervalley of the Bille right behind my house now, I went to check the place out a bit. It was very beautiful but also overrun by walkers, mosquitos, hungry ducks and puppys, LOL!! All this aside, there are a couple of really nice potential photoplaces, especially as soon as the trees have cast their leaves off. You have several places where waterline and bank are exactly the same height, which makes me hope for a frosty winter, because this has such potential.
And of course I did bring a horse- and myself, so to speak. Above you find the reward for the efforts of barring all the mentioned "dangers" to take effect on my picture, LOL!!

Kleine Sachen, die Freude machen

Gestern kam eine Lieferung aus der Gärtnerei von Fernando (MPV-Forum), die mir hilft meine hungrige Herde in Schach zu halten.
Viele leckere Karotten waren in dem Brief:


Und ein elegantes Halfter, das, wie sich herausstellte, unserer frechen Aerlind prima passt:


Halfter anprobieren ist doof! Und ab durch die Mitte...


Inzwischen hatte Rosalie die unbewachte Möhrentüte gefunden:


Und dieser Kleine hier kommt von meiner Arbeitskollegin Elisabeth- da ich nach dem Umzug nun mehr Platz habe, kann ein Pferd mehr ja nicht schaden. *g* Ich habe mich jedenfalls sehr gefreut und werde mir noch einen passenden Namen ausdenken. :)






English Summary:
Yesterday, a delivery of carrots reached me, they are from Fernando's (MPV-Forum) garden and will help to keep my hungry horses at bay. *g*
The letter also brought an elegant halter, that fits naughty Aerlind very well.
Shortly after, the filly did not feel like testing halters anymore and did what she does best. *g*
In the meantime, Rosalie found the unsupervised package of carrots...

And then we have this spotty little fellow- he is a gift from my colleague Elisabeth- she said that since I have now more room, a horse more would totally be in order, LOL!!
I was very delighted and shall think of an appropriate name. :)
